I'm a journalist specialising in popular factual and current affairs treatments for television.
I have more than a decade of experience in broadcast and print. I specialise in current affairs and factual TV development work, alongside self-shooting and location producing. I'm also a Royal Television Society Awards-nominated documentary filmmaker.
My most recent TV production work includes the BBC's The One Show, where I'm based in the current affairs team in Salford, developing some of BBC TV's most-watched current affairs output. Other credits include Dragons' Den, Inside Out North West and projects for BBC Learning and BBC Three, including Free Speech, BBC Fresh and Life Through My Lens.
Previous journalism work includes BBC Radio 5 live, North West Tonight, The Times, The Independent, Estates Gazette, Planning and North West Business Insider. I've also produced, shot and edited creative corporate video projects for clients including the Halle, Grant Thornton and IPPR.
I have an MA in television documentary production from the University of Salford.
