Film I made for Urbis following an invitation through the University of Salford for filmic responses to areas of Manchester that have been used in television or film. The film will be screened as part of Urbis' exhibition Manchester, Television and the City: Ghosts of Winter Hill. It was shown on the BBC's Big Screen in Exchange Square, Manchester, during February 2010.
The idea was to explore Manchester's role in the creation of the weekend and how the industrial structures of Castlefield are now used for the purposes of leisure.
